As an intern for the IT department, you will be exposed to various disciplines within IT such as Support Services, Cybersecurity and Cloud/Networking technologies.   Some of the areas of responsibility will include:

Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring hardware, software, and peripheral for end users
  • Assist the Helpdesk Support team with Tier 1 issues for end user technical support
  • Utilize a helpdesk ticketing system for tracking issues
  • Setting up iPhones and iPads for end users
  • Creating new user accounts in Microsoft Entra
  • Configure internet hot spots for job sites
  • Learn how to utilize cutting edge security tools for Cybersecurity monitoring
  • Develop forms using Microsoft Forms and learn how to use PowerAutomate
  • Perform other IT related tasks if needed

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, technical training or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to be organized, solve problems and prioritize tasks
  • Self-motivated and driven to learn new skills
  • Excellent customer service

Working Conditions

  • The IT Intern’s work is primarily performed indoors at Brinkmann’s corporate office
  • This role requires regular office hours, with potential for extended hours during reporting cycles
  • Light physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 10 pounds and some
  • Standing, walking, sitting, talking and/or hearing
