Overview

Brinkmann is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Development Intern to join our People Team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in learning and development operations, with a focus on learning technology, content management, and event coordination. The intern will play a key role in supporting our Learning Management System (LMS), The Learning Hub, and our OpenSesame content library, while also contributing to the rollout of our new social learning features—Discover, Coach, and Share.

Responsibilities

  • LMS Administration: Assist in managing The Learning Hub, including uploading content, managing user access, and troubleshooting learner issues.
  • Content Library Support: Help maintain and curate learning content from OpenSesame to align with organizational development goals.
  • Social Learning Rollout: Support the implementation and promotion of Discover, Coach, and Share features to enhance peer-to-peer learning and collaboration.
  • Event Coordination: Provide logistical and administrative support for in-person learning events, including scheduling, communications, and materials preparation.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track learner engagement, compile feedback, and assist in preparing reports on training effectiveness and LMS usage.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the internship, the intern will:

  • Understand the core responsibilities of an LMS Coordinator and Training Coordinator.
  • Gain experience with enterprise learning platforms and digital content curation.
  • Develop project coordination and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Contribute to a high-impact learning initiative with measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in learning and development, instructional design, or HR technology.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with LMS platforms is a plus.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail.

  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Schedule: Part-time or full-time (flexible based on academic schedule)
  • Compensation: Paid internship
